In spring 2006 EAPS launched an
East Asia Graduate Seminar designed for graduate students across
campus working on East Asia related dissertations. The seminar
introduced students to directions in East Asia scholarship across
the disciplines. Experts from on and off campus joined to discuss
scholarly debates and trends and to engage students on their dissertation

newly appointed Graduate Advisory Committee will assist in this
planning. If you are interested in joining that body or in learning
more about the course and/or certificate please contact EAPS Associate
Director Anne Prescott (aprescot@uiuc.edu). |
